A.Kobyakov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Visited Amkodor-Logoysk
On 25 January, during the business trip to the Logoysk district, A.Kobyakov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, visited the holding enterprise Amkodor-Logoysk manufacturing special-purpose machines for forestry.
During the visit, the AMKODOR forestry machinery in operation was demonstrated to the Head of the Government.
Then, with the participation of V.Vovk, Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, there was discussed the plan for modernization of the enterprise and increasing the production of forestry machinery, expanding its model range, increasing the competitiveness of products.
Mr.Kobyakov noted that Belarus was the only country among CIS countries manufacturing forestry machines which were in high demand first of all in the domestic market. The main aim for the holding was to develop the industry.
The AMKODOR holding has been developing the production of forestry machines more than 11 years. At present, a range of forestry machinery has 17 models and modifications. More than 900 machines have been produced and supplied to the customers, about 500 of them function in the Belarusian enterprises. In 2018 the supplies to the European market have begun. In 2018 the first SKD for assembly production has been shipped to the AMKODOR BALTIK in Lithuania.
Prospective markets of the Latin America, Africa and Asia are being studied.
The production program of the Unitary Enterprise Amkodor Logoysk for 2018 stipulates the production of 140 machines, and after the production modernization the scope of production in the medium term is planned to increase to 300 machines at significant updating and expansion of the model range.
Forestry machines manufactured at the enterprise – forwarder AMKODOR 2662-01, harvesters AMKODOR 2551, AMKODOR 2541 – in 2014 – 2017 were included in a List of innovative products of the Republic of Belarus.
In 2017 six employees of the JSC AMKODOR, holding managing company, received state awards for the development and introduction into production forestry machinery.
The visit of the governmental Executive to the Production Unitary Enterprise Amkodor-Logoysk and development prospects of the enterprise were widely covered by the Republican media.
