Cooperation of the AMKODOR Holding and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh is Developing
On 28-30 May 2018, the delegation of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh of Mr. Mosharraf Hossain, Minister of Housing and Public Works, Mr. Shajahan Khan, Minister of Shipping, S. M. Saiful Hoque, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus by mission, and accompanying persons visited the JSC AMKODOR, holding managing company.
The distinguished guests were acquainted with the presentation of the AMKODOR machines at the permanent exhibition, as well as with the possibilities of the machines in operation.
During the negotiations attended by A. Shakutin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the JSC AMKODOR, holding managing company, V. Ivankovich, Director General, and S. Shuliak, Director of Marketing Center, representatives of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh expressed an interest in the development of the established business relations with the AMKODOR holding.
There were discussed supplies of the holding machines used for the construction of dwelling houses, participation of Belarusian civil workers in the construction of houses in Bangladesh, as well as expansion of cooperation related not only to the supplies of the AMKODOR machines to this country but also to the establishment of the joint assembly production of the modern engineering machines within the territory of Bangladesh, including the prospect of their sales to the bordering countries of the South-East Asia.
For reference. In November of 2016, the AMKODOR holding completed the delivery contract to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for more than 1400 self-propelled machines and their working attachments worth USD 50 mln.
On 27 April 2017, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh held a grand opening of the trade and service center AMKODOR Palash Industrial Zone Ltd. It was timed to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
